Board up the windows and lock the cellar door this Saturday, September 26, as the House of Svengoolie presents the intense 1990 remake of the zombie milestone, Night of the Living Dead!
Directed by special effects legend Tom Savini and written by original mastermind George A. Romero, this pulse-pounding update breathes terrifying new life into the story of seven strangers trapped in a rural Pennsylvania farmhouse surrounded by flesh-eating ghouls. Starring horror icon Tony Todd (Candyman) as the resourceful Ben and Patricia Tallman as a reinvented, battle-ready Barbara, this 90s favorite is celebrated for its incredible practical gore effects, gripping tension, and fresh, action-packed take on the legendary original.
While the undead swarm the farmhouse perimeter, the Sven Squad will be barricaded in the dungeon to bring you plenty of shambling puns, behind-the-scenes makeup trivia, and a non-stop barrage of flying rubber chickens. Don’t let them grab you—tune in to MeTV at 8P | 7C for a night of relentless, full-color zombie carnage!
