Their banter while escaping Asgard in a stolen Dark Elf skiff—where Loki criticizes Thor’s driving every step of the way—is pure comedy gold.

- Asgard in full glory: We get sweeping vistas, golden halls, and dramatic viking funerals set to Brian Tyler’s booming, gorgeous musical score.
- Portal-hopping chaos: The climax in Greenwich, London, is ridiculously fun. Portals keep opening up mid-battle, dumping Thor, Malekith, and even Mjolnir across different realms. Watching Thor’s hammer zip endlessly through space trying to find him while Thor takes a ride on the London Underground is comedy perfection.
4. Earth’s Comedy MVP: Darcy Lewis & Dr. Selvig
While the fate of the universe hangs in the balance, the human squad keeps everything grounded with laugh-out-loud humor.
- Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis brings relentless snark, complete with her own intern, Ian.
- Stellan Skarsgård as Dr. Erik Selvig goes full eccentric genius, attempting to explain gravitational anomalies at Stonehenge—completely pants-less.
