Produced by the legendary Amicus Productions and directed by Freddie Francis, this retro sci-fi adventure kicks off when a shower of mysterious meteorites lands in a quiet English field. When scientists investigate, they fall victim to an extraterrestrial psychic force that takes over their bodies! Fortunately, astrophysicist Dr. Curtis Temple (Robert Hutton) has a silver plate in his skull from a prior accident, making him the only man immune to the alien mind-control and Earth’s sole hope for survival. Packed with colorful 1960s sets, spacesuits, and classic B-movie charm, it’s an entertaining trip to the far reaches of retro sci-fi.
