Fire up the DRAG-U-LA and head straight under the big top tonight, October 10, for another spine-tingling, monster-sized double feature on MeTV!
The fun kicks off at 8P | 7C as Svengoolie presents America’s first family of fright in their full-color, big-screen adventure, Munster, Go Home! (1966). When Herman Munster (Fred Gwynne) inherits an English lordship and the ancestral estate of Munster Hall, the entire clan—Lily (Yvonne De Carlo), Grandpa (Al Lewis), Eddie, and Marilyn—packs their bags for Great Britain! Naturally, their scheming aristocratic relatives try to scare them off, leading to secret passageways, counterfeiters, and Herman getting behind the wheel of Grandpa’s legendary hot rod for a high-stakes cross-country car race. Sven will be on hand with monstrous puns, behind-the-scenes Munster trivia, and a thunderous roar of flying rubber chickens!
Then, stick around for late-night chills as the House of Svengoolie steps inside the three-ring circus of terror with the 1967 British thriller, Berserk! Screen siren Joan Crawford stars as Monica Rivers, the ambitious ringmistress of a traveling circus who finds herself at the center of a deadly mystery when a series of gruesome, accidental-looking murders begins picking off her star performers. Packed with colorful big-top atmosphere, over-the-top suspense, and a sensational lead turn from Crawford, it’s a deliciously campy slice of 60s British psycho-horror. The Sven Squad will keep the high-wire tension fun with razor-sharp quips, sideshow lore, and an acrobat’s share of rubber poultry!
From English manors to macabre circus tents, Saturday night belongs on MeTV! Tune in Saturday, October 10, starting at 8P | 7C, for hours of monstrous laughs and killer thrills!
