October 24, 2026

Brace yourself for fur, bolts, and scales tonight, October 24, as MeTV unleashes an absolute powerhouse Universal Monsters double feature for the Halloween season!

The creature clash kicks off at 8P | 7C as Svengoolie presents the granddaddy of all monster rallies, Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943)! Desperate to break the ancient curse that forces him to transform under the full moon, Larry Talbot (Lon Chaney Jr.) journeys to the ruins of Castle Frankenstein in search of a cure. Instead, he unearths the dormant Frankenstein Monster—portrayed by none other than Bela Lugosi! It all builds to a legendary, brawl-for-it-all titan clash between two of horror cinema’s most iconic fiends. Sven will be ring-side with plenty of howlingly bad puns, classic Universal lore, and an inescapable barrage of flying rubber chickens!

Then, dive straight into the deep end as the House of Svengoolie plunges into late-night creature-feature thrills with Universal’s 1955 aquatic sequel, Revenge of the Creature! Captured from the Amazon and transported to a Florida oceanarium for scientific study, the Gill-man breaks out of his chains and goes on a rampage through the sunshine state. Directed by Jack Arnold, this thrilling follow-up features sensational underwater stunt work, Florida landmark nostalgia, and an uncredited early screen debut by a very young Clint Eastwood as an absent-minded lab tech. The Sven Squad will be standing on the boardwalk armed with fin-tastic quips, Gill-man trivia, and a tidal wave of rubber poultry!

From castle catacombs to Florida lagoons, your Saturday night is monster royalty all the way through. Tune in to MeTV this Saturday, October 24, starting at 8P | 7C, for a double dose of vintage Universal monster mayhem!
