BASEMENT BUSINESS REVIEW: Terror Threads

For the Halloween season of 2020 I became aware of a company that showed up on my Facebook feed called Terror Threads. They were advertising a House Of Terror USB cassette and the whole concept intrigued me. I grew up with albums such as Sounds To Make You Shiver and Disney’s Chilling, Thrilling Sounds Of The Haunted House and this looked like something very similar. Since I had never heard of this company, and since I had been getting inundated with scam ads on Facebook, I went to the website to see if this was a similar situation. Thankfully, it was not.

The link took me straight to the House Of Terror USB cassette. It is a standard 2.0 USB in a classic cassette tape design with a clear case, just like the old days. There are 12 tracks in all for a full sixty minutes of spooky sounds, all produced by Chicago’s own DJ Rampage. This collection is a lot of fun and is perfect to play out your window on Halloween night. After deciding that I wanted this, not only because I am a huge fan of sound effects records but because I love the look of this item, I started to look around the site. I was amazed at what else was offered.

I was like a kid in a candy store looking at the clothes, posters, masks and mugs. Though they feature many great movie images on their products, it was their original artwork that really stood out. The artwork is beautifully rendered and very retro looking. Their team of artists are phenomenal and it was nice seeing that they had women’s sizes, since my girlfriend loves these shirts as well and prefers the women’s cut.

I ended up buying three t-shirts, two for myself and one for my girlfriend (which she loved). The quality of the shirts is excellent and the printing is vibrant and sharp. They are made of 100% super soft ring-spun cotton, which is a nice change from what I have received from other companies. It took a little longer to get this order, but only because they wanted to wait and ship everything at once when House Of Terror was released, on October 10. This was not a surprise at all as this was all spelled out on the site so I was fine with the delay.

It was nice to see an actual company advertising on Facebook and being 100% legit. I cannot recommend Terror Threads enough and will definitely be back for more shirts; there are just too many great designs not to go back to! You can buy with confidence from them, knowing that your order will be processed quickly.
