BASEMENT PRODUCT REVIEW: Trick or Treat Studios’ Holiday Horrors Christmas Ornaments
If you’re like me, your Christmas tree has a variety of “regular” Christmas ornaments and some that may be less conventional. I have always tried to include ornaments that reflect my interests and hobbies, so adding horror-themed ornaments is nothing new. When I saw the Holiday Horrors line of Christmas ornaments from Trick or Treat Studios, I knew they were something that I wanted to look into.

At the time of this writing, this series has over 30 varieties of these ornaments. Though I am a fan of many of the characters, two stood out. The first is of Sam from the movie TRICK ‘R TREAT. The second is of the Creature from the Black Lagoon. I ordered both, and they arrived a few days later.

In addition to being officially licensed, they are beautifully sculpted. They are made of resin, have fantastic paintwork, and are designed to last. Even if it’s something you don’t want to hang from your tree, they come in nice display boxes, perfect for any horror collectible shelf. Trick or Treat Studios has a winner here with this series. I hope that they keep adding more characters in the future.

One set that is sure to please is the three masks from HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH. They are exact replicas of those masks made famous from the 1982 film. Other great designs include Chucky and Tiffany from the CHILD’S PLAY movies, Universal Monsters, and Michael Myers himself. My only real complaint is the weight of them. If you have a real tree, it will greatly bend your branches. If you have an artificial tree, the wire branches will be able to withstand the weight much better,
