I think most of us enjoy documentaries, especially when they are about a subject we are interested in. When it comes to the topic of UFOs and extraterrestrials, there are many documentaries to choose from. The problem is that, in my opinion, most of the documentaries seem very amateurish. This may lead the viewer to conclude that the subject is ridiculous.

On the other hand, when a documentary is good, it is usually exceptional! The subject of this review, “The Phenomenon,” is one such documentary. The creator, James Fox, is no stranger to UFO documentaries. He has produced some of the very best out there. These include “Out of the Blue” and “I Know What I Saw.”

I actually found out about this documentary from one of my favorite podcasts, Somewhere in the Skies, covered HERE. Ryan Sprague was interviewing James Fox. After hearing the interview, I knew this was something that I just had to see. I went right to Amazon and sure enough it was available to rent or buy. I immediately rented it.

In short, this heart-felt documentary captivated me from start to finish. One thing that has always impressed me is people who claim they have seen something. Those individuals who don’t profit from their experiences are particularly noteworthy. They would rather just keep to themselves instead of risking ridicule but to their grave believe they saw something amazing. James Fox did something extraordinary here. He tracked down the very people who experienced some of the most impressive cases. He sat down and talked to them or their family. You can see how these events affected the witnesses, some of which are very emotional.

Fox talks to the witnesses. He also speaks with former astronauts and senators. Fox even interviews people who used to work on Project Blue Book. What they all have to say is very interesting and it will really stay with you and make you think. It is very fascinating that so many people in high positions are speaking about the truth. They believe the public needs to be aware of the truth. These individuals have firsthand knowledge of it.

Director James Fox’s explosive documentary is being hailed as the most credible film ever made about the long-standing global cover-up. It is also considered the most revealing film about the mystery involving unidentified aerial phenomenon. The film contains shocking never-before-seen testimony from high-ranking government and military officials. It features NASA Astronauts and riveting footage. The timely film includes bombshell reveals about UAP incursions at nuclear weapon facilities. It covers the monumental events behind the NY Times’ recent disclosure of UFO videos and The Pentagon’s classified UFO Program. The documentary provides eye-opening evidence. It suggests that mankind is not alone in the universe. Senator Harry Reid says “The Phenomenon makes the incredible credible.”

Former Senior CIA Officer Jim Semivan, calls it “The most important documentary of the year. It is the most accurate examination of the world’s greatest mystery.” Dr. Jacques Vallee says “70 years of secrecy has led to this. The most credible documentary ever made about UFOs.” Luis Elizondo, Former Director of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), says “The Phenomenon sets a new benchmark for disclosure. It is now the standard for sharing information.”

The film is narrated by Peter Coyote. It includes prominent figures like Senator Harry Reid, President Clinton, and President Ford. Other figures are John Podesta, White House Chief of Staff for Clinton and advisor to Obama. It also includes Governor Bill Richardson. Another notable figure is Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, Christopher Mellon. It also features NASA Astronauts, Governor Fife Symington, George Knapp, Dr. Garry Nolan, and Dr. Jacques Vallee. Dr. Jacques Vallee was portrayed in Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind, among others.

There is a lot of information in this film. You will want to watch it more than once. I did the same. Many cases might be hoaxes or misidentifications. However, numerous cases cannot be explained away as things such as Venus or swamp gas. Even if you are a skeptic, this documentary will make you think twice.

You can watch this recommended documentary on many platforms, including AppleTV, Amazon Prime Video, Vimeo, Vudu, Fandango, Microsoft and GooglePlay. It is recommended to buy it on AppleTV and Vimeo as they both include three hours of additional material, not seen anywhere else. This documentary was supposed to debut in 1,500 theatres but because of the pandemic, those plans were scrapped. Hopefully, when things go back to normal, it will come out in a limited release. In the meantime, rent or buy this documentary now and help support an amazing director.
